BellyGood fridge checklist

Off Day vs. Vet Day

A simple fridge check for dog belly days. This is general information, not a diagnosis. When in doubt, call your vet.

Watch at home

  • One softer stool, but your dog is bright, drinking, and behaving normally.
  • A slightly quieter day after a known food change, travel day, or extra treat.
  • Mild gas or gut noises with normal appetite and no repeated vomiting.
  • A settled dog who improves over the next 24 hours.

Call the vet today

  • Blood in stool, black tarry stool, or repeated vomiting.
  • Refusing water, signs of dehydration, or real lethargy.
  • Rapid weight loss, obvious pain, bloating, or collapse.
  • A puppy under 6 months, a senior dog, or a dog with a diagnosed condition getting digestive signs.
  • Symptoms that persist, worsen, or feel unusual for your dog.

The BellyGood rule: food routines are for ordinary feeding days. Red flags are for vets, not toppers, supplements, or waiting it out.
